The Online and Blended Teaching Hub is a product of Project TIME, Teaching Innovations in Multimodal Education, a multidisciplinary initiative of Purdue University and its partners. The project was funded by an Indiana GEER grant (Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund), entitled “Becoming an Online Teacher Even When I Didn’t Sign Up for It.” See the relevant news story for more details.
The goal of the project is to help teachers to integrate online teaching and learning strategies as part of hybrid, hy-flex, or longer-term fully online instruction. The project has developed a series of online resources and micro-credentials (i.e., digital badges) to assist teachers in learning to design effective online learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of their learners. The materials developed by the project are all free-to-use. While designed specifically for Indiana teachers, anyone interested in online and blended teaching and learning may find them to be of use.
